Buri (Yellowtail) Fried Rice

A savoury dish combining yellowtail, soy sauce, garlic, eggs, and rice delivers a rich and flavourful taste.

Ingredients

Buri (Yellowtail)* 150 g
Rice 300 g
Egg 2
Red and Yellow Bell Pepper 2 tbsp (5 mm cubes)
Chopped Chives 2 tbsp
Onion 2 tbsp (5 mm cubes)
Carrot 2 tbsp (5 mm cubes)
Chunked Snap Peas 2 tbsp
Minced Garlic 1 tsp
Soy Sauce 2 tsp
Finely Chopped Parsley As You Like
Oil for Stir-frying As Needed

*Season with 1.5% salt, cover with cling wrap, and place it in a refrigerator. Pat dry with paper towel.

Directions

  • Step 1

    Grill Buri on a grill and flake.

  • Step 2

    Put frying oil in a frying pan and heat, add beaten egg and heat until it is softly set and slightly runny in places. Place egg aside.

  • Step 3

    Add oil and garlic in the frying pan. Heat until fragrant, add onions, carrots, green peppers, chives and snap peas.

  • Step 4

    Add the rice and stir-fry, then add the grilled Buri (1) and eggs (2). Add salt and pepper and stir-fry further. Add a dash of soy sauce just before stop cooking. Place on a serving plate and sprinkle with parsley.
