Culinary Wellbeing Conference 2024: Mindful Eating for Wellness

The event featured a conference and panel discussion on healthy food choices and mindful eating. A workshop on Shojin Ryori cuisine, conducted by Master Mari Fujii, taught traditional cooking methods rooted in Buddhist temple diets and was a highlight of the event. Presentations included Dr. Keri McCrickerd on “The Psychology of Food Choices,” Prof. Jianshe Chen on “The Sensory Science of Eating,” and Dr. Chew Hong Gian on “TCM’s Approach to Food as Medicine.”
