JETRO / JFOODO Rice Event
26th, 27th January 2024 at Japan Creative Centre, Singapore
This invitation-only event allowed visitors to experience the appeal and depth of Japanese rice from various perspectives through cooking demonstrations, workshops, and a taste comparison of different brands of rice. The two-day event was a great success, with a total of about 200 participants, including JCC (Japan Creative Centre) members, influencers, and members of the media.
A “Rice Meister” introduces the characteristics of Japanese rice and the best way to cook it.
At the onigiri workshop, participants enjoyed making their own unique onigiri together with their family and friends.
A taste comparison of Japanese rice, and tasting of cooked rice with scallops and other grilled dishes.
Panasonic cooking appliances played a major role in the cooking demonstration and tasting.
